The Consulting Detective Trilogy Part III: Montague Street is the conclusion to the four book series. In it Sherlock Holmes arrives back in London when Scotland Yard is rife with corruption. He solves two sensational crimes but receives little credit. He struggles to find to clients and fills his time with improving his knowledge and skills while solving mysteries for the challenge. Gradually the cases come and they involve a mysterious cult that meets in a millionaire's basement, a golden idol that threatens to destroy England, an old Russian woman lost in London, a man who believes his clock is killing him, and many more. Holmes meets Wiggins and Inspector Lestrade for the first time.

Via Dolorosa (Lat. "sorrowful way") or Via Crucis (Lat. "the way of the Cross") is the path believed to be taken by Jesus from the place of his condemnation by Pilate to Mount Golgotha, the site of his crucifixion, and then to his grave site. Early Christians continued the ancient Jewish practice of pilgrimages to Jerusalem. Out of this practice came the tradition of the Stations of the Cross as a series of commemorative devotions or meditations.
